Confused by modern games with too many invisible rules
I am really struggling to understand how winning combinations are actually calculated in most of the apps I play. Sometimes it looks like I have a perfect match on the screen, but nothing happens, and other times I get a reward for something that looks totally random. It is so frustrating when the rules are not clearly visible on the main screen. I feel like I am just tapping buttons without any real strategy because I don't understand the underlying map of the game. Is there an easier way to visualize these patterns?

I hate that feeling of seeing a line of symbols and getting no credit for it because of some weird hidden rule. One thing that helped me was looking at the Wacky Panda paylines https://wackypanda-nz.com/ because they use a very traditional and easy-to-follow structure. Sometimes, less is more when it comes to game design, and having fewer paths can actually make the experience much clearer for the player. It is worth looking for games that don't overcomplicate their basic mechanics. Have you tried taking a screenshot when you're confused to check it against the rules later?
